Marilizabeth Birk, PMHNP-BC, PMH-c, ADHD-CSSP

Marilizabeth Birk is an American Nurses Credentialing Center board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner  (PMHNP-BC) with a background in psychiatric nursing & intensive outpatient therapy. She incorporates mindfulness & self-reflection with medication therapy & has experience treating depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, & psychotic disorders in children, adolescents, & adults.

Marilizabeth completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Washington, her RN from Paradise Valley Community College & her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at South College in Tennessee. She has worked with clients from coast to coast with cultural competence. Marilizabeth has a background in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), & client-centered care, alongside medication therapy. 

Originally from Washington State, Marilizabeth moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1997.  It is in Phoenix that she has found warmth & health while residing with her husband, sons & 5 large rescue dogs.
